Incredibly Fantastic Math

In Te Ngahere we have been doing math. We were learning to multiply by multiples of 10. I learnt that a mosasaur weighs 5.23 tones. I also learnt that 7x10 7 times is the same as 70 000 000 (7x10x10x10x10x10x10x10 = 70 000 000). What I found difficult was paying attention because I was distracted by other groups. Tomorrow I will try my best to stay on task and stay focused. Have you done math like this in your classroom? I hope you enjoyed reading this blog post.
