Calendar Art

In Te Ngahere we started doing calendar art called mahi toi. We were leaning to draw continuous lines. I learnt that it is easier to draw a circle with your shoulder instead of your wrist because your wrist can’t twist right around. After we finished drawing our art we had to blend colors. I enjoyed blending the colors together. I haven’t finished my artwork yet. Have you done art like this before? Here is a picture of the art work we are expected to design. Ka Kite!
