  1. Kia ora Breeze,

How are you doing today? I hope you're enjoying the Summer Learning Journey so far :)
I love how you've presented your 3 activities together, it makes it much easier for us blog commenters, so thank you!

I think you've done an awesome job on all 3 activities, you've obviously put a lot of effort into them. Your poem sounds great, and you've done an awesome job finding words that rhyme! I agree, it can be really hard to do but I think you managed to find words that rhyme and sound great!

I definitely think singing in front of lots of people is very brave. I am not a good singer but if I ever have to sing waiata at a powhiri or at school, I get very nervous and have to be brave too. Well done on pushing past your fears, I'm sure it was all worth it when you went down to Wellington! What was your favourite activity from your Wellington trip?

Keep up the awesome work Breeze! Maybe next time you could include some colour or images? If you need some ideas, check this link out:

  2. Kia ora Breeze! It's Taleisha.

I like how you have put all three activities onto one slide. It makes it easier for us commenters. You have definitely done a good job with all 3 of your activities.

Your DLO is very informative and has a lot of facts that I never knew about for either pilots. I learnt that Jean had a sibling and Amelia didn't. I also learnt that Jean died of infection. What type of infection was it?

I know it is really hard to write a poem. I myself aren't much of poet but you definitely gave the poem your best shot and it came out great! I see you really tried to use rhyming words and I know it isn't easy. I find making poems difficult.

It was really hard to sing in front of the tourists aye? Always having to smile consistently and pukana. But it ended up going really well :)

I hope to see more posts from you later on these holidays!

    Taleisha
